Baggage Handler| Changi Airport (Class 3) | Up to $2850 #5252

Contract: 1 year (Renewable/Convertible)

Working Location: Changi Airport

Working Hours: 2 days’ work, 2 days off shift cycle (8:30am to 8:30pm & 8:30pm to 8:30am)  Must commit both shift

Salary: $2850

Job Responsibilities:

Implementing the seasonal schedule by ensuring the relevant parties update the operational database with real-time data

Preparing various reports, such as Sitrep, for internal and external stakeholders

Manually updating Baggage Information and Flight Information Displays

Troubleshooting multiple, often simultaneous, scheduling conflicts as they arise

Coordinating with Engineering Baggage Control Room for any real time operational changes and challenges in the BHA

Ensuring Arrival Baggage Presentation performance and mishandling rate are met or exceeds KPI

Facilitate Joint Inspections with stakeholders together with Airside Support Officers or higher

Close coordination with all baggage stakeholders for VIP flights and exception handling

Attend to incident on-site and carry out investigation procedures

Job Requirements:

Minimum Higher Nitec with any relevant education

Experience in an airline/airport operations environment (preferably 2 years of experience)

Must be on-site in the baggage handling area

Prefer to have Class 3 driving license to drive the baggage truck

Must be able to work shift and weekends
