Assistant Maintenance

Location: 81 Beach Rd, Singapore 189692

Working days: 6 days; 9:00am - 6:00pm

Salary: $ 2,500

Job Responsibilities

Assist in the daily maintenance and repair works of the hotel.

Carry out basic electrical, plumbing and general repair works.

Assist in troubleshooting and repairing lights, power points, switches and other electrical fixtures.

Assist with basic air-conditioning maintenance and troubleshooting.

Attend to plumbing issues such as leaking pipes, taps, toilets and clogged drains.

Assist with repair and maintenance of guest room facilities, including door locks, hair dryers, water heaters and other equipment.

Carry out minor patching, painting and ceiling repair works when required.

Check and maintain hotel equipment, pumps and other building facilities.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms and hotel departments.

Assist the Maintenance Technician/Contractor with repair and servicing works.

Conduct routine inspections and report any defects or safety issues.

Maintain tools, equipment and maintenance work areas in good condition.

Assist with emergency maintenance works when required.

Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Management.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general maintenance work is preferred.

Previous hotel/building maintenance experience is an advantage.

Able to troubleshoot basic maintenance problems.
