Head of Projects (F&B Renovation)/Central/$8000 max

Job Duties

Manage relationships with international design consultants to translate site requirements into high-impact architectural concepts.

Present design proposals and feasibility studies to the Board of Directors, facilitating the decision-making process for new site launches.

Oversee the bidding process by engaging with preferred contractors, evaluating technical specifications and negotiating commercial terms to ensure project ROI.

Drive the full project lifecycle from groundbreaking to handover, ensuring all builds adhere to strict timelines, quality benchmarks and the original design vision.

Navigate local statutory requirements to secure all necessary operating licenses and permits post-fit-out.

Partner with Regional Operations Leads and Technical Managers to ensure that back-of-house and front-of-house designs are optimized for peak efficiency.

Implement a rigorous maintenance and inspection framework for the corporate headquarters and the broader retail portfolio to ensure safety and brand consistency.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline.

At least 5 years of project management experience, preferably involving restaurant, retail, F&B or commercial fit-out projects.

Experience managing the full project lifecycle, including design coordination, tendering, contractor selection, renovation, handover and licensing.

Able to interpret technical drawings, evaluate quotations, negotiate with contractors and manage project budgets, timelines and workmanship.

Familiar with renovation submissions, regulatory approvals and maintenance requirements for F&B establishments in Singapore.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, contractors, landlords, senior management and restaurant operations teams.
