Planning Manager

Responsibilities

Project Scheduling:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).

Establish baseline schedules and monitor progress against these benchmarks.

Resource Management:

Coordinate with project managers to determine resource requirements and ensure optimal allocation.

Analyze resource usage and make recommendations for adjustments to meet project goals.

Progress Monitoring:

Track project progress and report on key milestones, delays, and resource utilization.

Conduct regular site visits to gather data and assess the progress of construction activities.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and delays in the project timeline, proposing solutions and mitigation strategies.

Conduct impact analysis for changes in project scope or schedule, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and present progress reports, schedules, and forecasts to project management and stakeholders.

Maintain documentation of schedule changes, delays, and mitigation measures taken.
