Air-con Technician

Job Description

The Aircon Technicianis responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of airconditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Thisrole requires technical expertise in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and AirConditioning) systems, a strong focus on safety, and the ability totroubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The Aircon Technician plays avital role in ensuring that air conditioning systems are functioning optimallyand that all service tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality.

Job Responsibilities

·        Installingnew equipment and machinery

·        Installing the necessary components of an airconditioning systems such as the compressor, condenser and evaporator

·        Maintenanceon air conditioning systems to ensure they are functioning properly

·        Inspectingand testing equipmentto diagnose problemsand determine necessary repairs

·        Repairingor replacing defective parts, such as motors, belts,gears, and electrical components

·        Troubleshooting and repairing complexmachinery, such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems

·        Maintainingaccurate records of maintenance and repair work performed

·        Collaborating with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve equipmentissues

·        Following safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe workingenvironment

·        Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in the field of maintenance and repair

·        Providing technical supportto customers or clients

·        Any other tasks or dutiesassigned by the Company

Job Requirements

·        Min. 2 years of relatedwork experience

·        NITEC or equivalent

·        Able to read and interprettechnical manuals and schematics

·        Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·        Able to work independently and a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
