Industry/ Organization Type: Geotechnical Construction

Position Title: Quantity Surveyor

Working Location: Bukit Batok

Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 6.30pm)

Salary Package: Basic salary up to $5,000 + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and commercial proposals based on project requirements.

Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and other relevant information before preparing submissions.

Compile and organise supporting documents required for tender and proposal submissions.

Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and other parties to obtain the necessary costing and supporting information.

Follow up on submitted quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals with clients and relevant stakeholders.

Participate in contract discussions and negotiations, including pricing, commercial terms, and project requirements.

Review contract terms and ensure agreed commercial conditions are properly documented.

Prepare and submit progress claims based on completed works and project milestones.

Prepare tax invoices and supporting documents for billing purposes.

Follow up on progress claims, invoices, and payment status with clients.

Work closely with project and management teams to support the commercial and contractual aspects of ongoing projects.

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building, or a related discipline

Good knowledge of local construction practices and commercial processes.

Candidates with background in geotechnical are advantageous
