Senior Officer, Trade Finance (Banking Industry, UCP600/Trade Operations, $5.5k) (ID: 711737)

Responsibilities

Process import and export bills, including trade bill transactions, advising, and settlements.

Conduct preliminary checks on all import and export documents.

Liaise with customers to amend documents with discrepancies and oversee acceptance of import bills.

Handle processing of forfaiting and other refinancing trade bills.

Collect letters of credit (L/Cs) and shipping documents from customers, addressing inquiries regarding bills, and monitoring documentation completeness.

Prepare statistical reports as required.

Perform compliance checks.

Undertake additional duties as necessary.

Requirements

Possess a Degree.

Minimum of 4 years of banking experience in trade finance.

Proficient in UCP 600 with a solid background in checking import and export shipping documents.

Strong ability to learn quickly and work independently.

Proven efficiency and accuracy in task completion.

Capability to manage multiple responsibilities as needed.

Exceptional analytical skills with keen attention to detail, especially in financial statement analysis.
