Responsibilities
Perform statutory Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and Environmental Control Officer (ECO) duties to ensure compliance with safety laws and regulations
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for construction projects to identify hazards and implement mitigation measures
Enforce safety regulations on-site to maintain a safe working environment for employees and subcontractors
Organize and deliver safety training programs tailored for company and subcontractor employees to enhance safety awareness and compliance
Maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) controls and processes in alignment with company policies and government regulations
Conduct regular site inspections and lead safety meetings to monitor and improve safety performance
Investigate accidents thoroughly and prepare incident reports as required to prevent recurrence
Promote Good Governance and Best Safety (GGBS) practices and support ISO-related activities to uphold quality and safety standards
Required competencies and certifications
Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with a minimum of three years of site experience
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Minimum three years of experience in MRT, tunnel, or highway construction projects
Familiarity with ISO documentation and standards
Ability to work independently with a positive attitude
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
