RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Evaluate and recommend new techniques and technologies

Manage Research and Development (R&D) credit studies and related activities

Develop and sustain excellent client relationships during delivery of Research and Development (R&D) services

Assist (other) Research and Development (R&D) project managers with the delivery of engagements as needed, including research and writing with regard to technical issues

Provide Research and Development (R&D) quality assurance, engagement reviewer and exam support

Builds effective cross-functional relationships with field implementation, regional food, distribution, facilities and other professional services teams

Consults with regional retail operation leaders to identify opportunities and drive improvement in execution of food safety and cleanliness standards in retail stores

Implements and monitors quality assurance programs to ensure they meet or exceed intended objectives

Manages third party audit program for region

May provide technical guidance for quality assurance specialists in

Qualifications for research & development manager:

Assesses project requests and assignments to technical project managers

Knowledge of food technology, food microbiology, safe food handling procedures and foodservice sanitation practices

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP Principles, ISO 9000, dairy regulations and applicable food codes for foodservice operations

Ability to design and conduct Quality System and facilitate audits

Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and responsibilities in a fast-changing environment
