E&I Engineer (water treatment)

Responsibilities

Support E&I EPC projects from engineering through commissioning and handover.

Prepare and review E&I drawings, specifications, datasheets, cable schedules, loop drawings, and technical documents.

Supervise contractors and site installation works, including cables, panels, instruments, conduits, and terminations.

Prepare cable routes, PLC I/O lists, control system architecture, panel drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.

Support troubleshooting, maintenance, plant modifications, and shutdown activities.

Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and project progress.

Participate in FAT, SAT, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.

Prepare technical specifications, scope of work, BOQ, progress reports, and project documentation.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and Operations & Maintenance teams.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.

At least 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in EPC, industrial/process plants, water/wastewater, or oil & gas.

Knowledge of E&I systems, PLC/SCADA, field instruments, and industrial communication protocols.

Familiar with E&I standards, testing procedures, and safety requirements.
