WSH Coordinator

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor Workplace Safety& Health (WSH) and Environmental Management Systems at construction sites.

Conduct daily site inspections, maintain safety records and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

Ensure subcontractors and site operations comply with the WSH Act, regulations and established safety procedures.

Review risk assessments and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.

Report and investigate site incidents in collaboration with the WSH Officer.

Attend site EHS coordination meetings and assist in resolving safety and health issues.

Promote continuous improvement of site safety practices and programmes.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of WSH experience, including at least 2years in a construction site environment.

Safety Coordinator Certificate or Advanced Certificate in WSH.

Good knowledge of the WSH Act, subsidiary legislation and applicable legal requirements.

Familiar with Workplace Safety & Health Management Systems(WSHMS).

Familiar with OHSAS 18001:2007, SS 506:2009 and ISO 14001.

Good understanding of construction works across various trades.
