The Company

We are seeking an experienced Programme Director with Financial Services experience to support our client, a leading player in the Insurance industry.

The Role

The Program Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and governance of complex hiring and transformation programs for key clients. This role leads cross-functional project teams, defines program scope and objectives, and ensures alignment with client strategy, timelines, and quality standards. The Program Director manages budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication, providing regular reporting, status updates, and recommendations to senior leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with consultants and account managers, optimizing delivery processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. The role also involves developing long-term client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and contributing to best practices and strategic initiatives across the Oliver James network.

Your Profile

Demonstrated experience in program and project management, including planning, execution, governance, and risk management across multiple initiatives.

Proven background in talent solutions, consulting, or staffing environments, preferably within financial services, professional services, or related industries.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, build client relationships, and manage cross-functional teams.

Solid financial and analytical skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking to ensure programs meet commercial and operational targets.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex program information into clear, actionable insights.

Track record of driving process improvement, change management, and operational efficiency in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP) is an advantage.

Experience working in or with regional or global teams, ideally within Asia, and familiarity with Singapore market practices and regulations.

Ability to work on-site in Singapore, manage competing priorities, and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
