Looking for a meaningful role supporting seniors in a day care setting? Join a community care team providing daily care, activities and support to seniors.
Job Responsibilities
Assist seniors with daily living activities including personal hygiene, mobility, toileting, diaper changing and feeding
Escort and assist seniors during transportation to and from the care centre
Ensure seniors' safety and comfort during transportation
Facilitate games, activities and social engagement for seniors
Build positive relationships with seniors and caregivers
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Certificate in Healthcare or a related course
Experience in social services or the healthcare industry is preferred
Empathetic with good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work well in a collaborative environment
