Electrical Engineer - VTAL

Our client is a marine and offshore industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Electrical Enginee to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement electrical systems, components, and equipment in accordance with project requirements and specifications.

Conduct testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.

Prepare and maintain technical drawings, electrical schematics, specifications, and project documentation using CAD software.

Work closely with project teams to provide technical and engineering support throughout project execution.

Perform root cause analysis and implement timely corrective actions to resolve electrical and system-related issues.

Ensure all electrical designs, installations, and maintenance activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to assess and select suitable electrical components, materials, and systems.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and familiar with Switchboard

Knowledge of electrical design principles, power distribution, and control systems.
