Perm Senior / Staff Nurse – SOC Pre-Anaesthesia Screening (Jurong East | Office Hours) #HGN

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive and systematic pre-operative assessments for patients undergoing procedures requiring anaesthesia.
• Review and evaluate patients’ medical history, medication profiles, allergies and investigation results.
• Identify and assess perioperative risks and escalate concerns appropriately when necessary.
• Provide pre-operative education, counselling and support to patients and their families.
• Interpret 12-lead ECG findings, recognise abnormalities and identify critical values in routine blood investigations.
• Recognise early signs of clinical deterioration and promptly escalate concerns to the anaesthetist when required.
• Perform venepuncture and basic patient assessments, including monitoring and recording vital signs.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with established clinical protocols and patient safety standards.

Requirements

Valid SNB and BCLS

Relevant nursing experience in Anaesthesia Unit (AU), PACU and/or Operating Theatre (OT)
