Job Description

Industry/ Organization Type: Construction (Façade & Curtain Wall)

Position Title: Façade Designer

Working Location: Kaki Bukit

Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri, 9.00am – 6.00pm; Sat, 9.00am – 1.00pm)

Salary Package: Basic salary up to $6,000 + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

Prepare shop drawings, tender drawings, fabrication drawings, cutting lists, and related technical documents

Coordinate and manage design works for assigned projects to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery

Liaise with clients, main contractors, architects, consultants, and internal teams on design and technical matters

Develop façade design concepts, technical details, and practical engineering solutions for projects

Prepare detailed construction drawings and technical submissions based on project requirements

Review project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements to ensure compliance and buildability

Coordinate closely with architects, project engineers, consultants, and contractors

Ensure façade systems and designs meet project standards, authority requirements, and performance specifications

Support project execution from design development through fabrication and construction stages

Attend project meetings, coordination sessions, and site inspections when required

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related field

Experience in façade design, curtain wall systems, or related construction design work

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Good understanding of construction processes and project coordination

Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
