Senior Events Manager (Contract)

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and delivery of conferences, company-hosted events, partner activations, and regional roadshows across international markets.

Manage the annual events calendar, aligning initiatives with business objectives, product launches, and market expansion plans.

Define event objectives, target audiences, budgets, and success measures.

Oversee event production, including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, design, and on-site execution.

Evaluate sponsorship and speaking opportunities, and coordinate speaker arrangements and executive participation.

Collaborate with marketing, PR, product, and regional teams on event promotion, product demonstrations, and attendee engagement.

Build relationships with event organisers and partners to support lead generation and business development.

Evaluate event performance through budget reviews, attendee feedback, lead quality, and return on investment, applying findings to future events.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, or a related field, including at least 2 years in a senior role.

Proven experience delivering large-scale events, conferences, and activations across multiple markets.

Experience managing both company-hosted events and external sponsorships or partnerships.

Strong budget, vendor management, and negotiation skills.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams, suppliers, and deadlines.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with senior executives and external partners.

Ability to work independently, resolve on-site issues, and adapt to changing requirements.

Willingness to travel internationally as required for event delivery.

Nice to Have

Experience incorporating product demonstrations and interactive activities into events.

Familiarity with event registration, attendee engagement, and lead tracking tools.

Experience measuring event contributions to brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.
