Procurement Director (automotive electronics / Ubi/ IATF)

About the role

Lead the end-to-end design of procurement frameworks, policies, and SOPs, establish category strategies for direct and indirect spend, and implement supplier performance and risk management frameworks. Drive strategic sourcing and enterprise-level contract negotiations to deliver cost reduction and total cost of ownership optimization without compromising quality or delivery.

Key responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design of procurement frameworks, policies, and SOPs, establish category strategies for direct and indirect spend, and implement supplier performance and risk management frameworks.

Drive strategic sourcing and enterprise-level contract negotiations to deliver cost reduction and total cost of ownership optimization without compromising quality or delivery.

Build and manage the supplier base through regular audits and performance reviews, cultivating strategic partnerships within the automotive electronics ecosystem.

Develop and lead a high-performing procurement team by defining roles and career paths while fostering continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

10+ years of progressive procurement experience, a proven track record in the automotive electronics industry.

Hands-on experience building procurement functions from scratch, deep knowledge of APAC/SEA supply markets.
