Job Summary

D&J Badminton Academy seeks a Senior Strength & Conditioning Coach to design and implement athlete-specific training programs that enhance performance, physical development, and injury prevention for youth and competitive badminton players.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver strength and conditioning programs tailored to youth and competitive athletes to improve strength, power, speed, agility, mobility, endurance, and injury prevention

Plan, manage, and monitor athletes’ training routines to optimize physical development and performance progression

Collaborate closely with badminton coaches to integrate S&C programs with technical and tactical training

Apply knowledge of sport-specific physical demands to support long-term athletic development in badminton players

Evaluate athlete progress and adjust training plans to meet evolving performance goals and reduce injury risk

Required competencies and certifications

Hold a degree in Sports Science, Exercise Science, Strength & Conditioning, or a related field

Possess recognized Strength & Conditioning certifications such as CSCS, UKSCA, ASCA, EXOS, NASM, ACE, or equivalent

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience working with youth or competitive athletes in strength and conditioning roles

Knowledge and experience managing strength & conditioning needs specific to badminton players
