Job Summary

Join Kan & Co as an Audit Associate/Senior to gain hands-on experience in audit, accounting, tax, and GST compliance while supporting diverse client engagements.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, including performing audit fieldwork and completing audit documentation to ensure compliance with standards

Prepare audit and tax schedules aligned with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and the Singapore Income Tax Act for accurate financial reporting

Support GST reporting and compliance activities to meet regulatory requirements

Prepare full sets of financial statements and accounts for clients to facilitate transparent financial disclosure

Manage accounting and related administrative tasks to maintain organized client records

Communicate proactively with clients to obtain and clarify audit and accounting information, ensuring timely completion of assignments

Collaborate effectively within teams and independently to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments under pressure

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, or equivalent qualification

Prior experience of at least 1 year in audit, accounting, or related roles preferred to enhance practical knowledge

Good understanding of Singapore GST regulations to support compliance tasks

Experience working in client-focused accounting or audit firms preferred for familiarity with client service standards

Positive attitude, proactive approach, and strong attention to detail to contribute to quality outcomes

Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and team members
