Senior Interior Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead residential and commercial projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

Develop innovative design concepts and execute space planning to optimize functionality and aesthetics for residential and commercial projects

Create detailed 3D visuals to effectively communicate design proposals to clients

Prepare accurate technical drawings and specifications to guide project execution

Present design proposals clearly to clients, incorporating feedback to refine solutions

Source quality materials and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence

Collaborate with contractors and conduct regular site inspections to ensure design intent and quality standards are met

Manage project budgets and timelines to deliver projects on schedule and within financial targets

Mentor and guide junior designers to enhance team capabilities and project outcomes

Required competencies and certifications

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience managing interior design projects independently

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software for design development and presentation

Knowledge of Singapore construction practices and regulations to ensure compliance
