Engineering Draftsman

Job Responsibilities

Prepare outline and detailed engineering drawings for new-build projects and retrofit orders according to customer, project, and regulatory requirements.

Develop preliminary, single-line, termination, and arrangement drawings based on project scope and engineering specifications.

Prepare and coordinate engineering and vendor documentation for submission to customers and relevant authorities or classification societies for review.

Monitor engineering deliverables, schedules, and project progress, while identifying and highlighting potential risks or issues that may affect timely completion.

Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation, support work-progress reporting, and comply with applicable quality, safety, statutory, and environmental requirements.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.

Proficiency in CAD drafting software and the ability to produce accurate technical and engineering drawings.

Basic understanding of engineering drawings, drafting standards, and relevant technical documentation.

Good organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage documentation and monitor multiple engineering deliverables.

Good communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to collaborate with internal teams, customers, vendors, and relevant authorities.
