About the Role

Our client, a manufacturing company based in Boon Lay, is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance operations and keep plant equipment running at peak performance. Transport is available from Jurong Point.

What You'll Do

Troubleshoot and carry out corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and keep equipment performing optimally

Lead and supervise a team of technicians in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of plant machinery

Plan and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations

Manage spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are available when needed

Liaise with suppliers and vendors for technical support, spare parts, and maintenance services

Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to boost reliability and productivity

Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and maintenance procedures

What You'll Need

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field

2–3 years of relevant experience in a heavy manufacturing environment

Hands-on experience with automation systems — troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment

Experience in steel manufacturing is a plus

Strong knowledge of IPCs, PLC programming, drive control systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team

Able to perform well under pressure and respond promptly to maintenance issues

Willing to work 5.5 days/week with overtime as needed

Valid driving license preferred

Work Location: Boon Lay (transport provided from Jurong Point)
