Job Summary:
The Regional Finance Business Partner will partner closely with business and regional stakeholders to drive sound financial management, business performance, and informed decision-making. The role will oversee financial planning and analysis, settlement, treasury, taxation, financial reporting, and financial risk management across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Governance: Develop and enhance financial strategies, policies, processes, and internal controls in line with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Budgeting & Business Analysis: Lead budgeting and forecasting, analyse financial performance and variances, and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.
Settlement & Working Capital: Oversee end-to-end accounts receivable and payable processes, including settlement, collections, payments, and working capital management.
Treasury Management: Manage cash-flow forecasting, funding planning, banking administration, and treasury-related risks.
Tax Management: Oversee tax compliance and manage tax-related risks in accordance with applicable regulations.
Financial Reporting & Audit: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain effective financial controls, and coordinate internal and external audit requirements.
Regional Finance Partnership: Partner with business and regional stakeholders to drive financial performance, risk management, and continuous improvement across the region. Support the documentation and standardization of business processes, project procedures and operational requirements where required.
Assist with regional data collection, analysis and preparation of management insights to support business planning and decision-making.
Undertake other relevant business, operational and project-related responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, with demonstrated exposure to a broad range of financial management activities.
Strong knowledge of Singapore financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cost management, working capital, settlement, taxation, risk management, and financial reporting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate financial information into practical business insights and recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional and regional stakeholders.
Professional accounting qualifications such as CA (Singapore) or ACCA are advantageous.
Prior exposure to logistics or large-scale, complex, regional organisations is preferred.
Familiarity with financial operations across Southeast Asian markets would be an assets.
Strong written and spoken English is required for communication with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Mandarin is required for regular communication with Mandarin-speaking headquarters and stakeholders in Greater China.
