Job Summary
Manage full sets of accounts and financial reporting to ensure accurate, timely month-end and year-end closings while supporting compliance and process improvements in a mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities
Manage full sets of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts, financial reports, and schedules to support business decision-making
Execute month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and within deadlines to ensure timely financial reporting
Monitor accounts receivable and payable by following up on outstanding payments and supplier invoices to maintain cash flow
Record all accounting transactions with proper documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness
Manage cash inflows and outflows while maintaining accurate cash records to support liquidity management
Assist in preparing monthly cash flow projections to forecast company financial position
Prepare GST submissions and other statutory reports in compliance with applicable regulations to meet legal requirements
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, suppliers, customers, and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth financial operations
Support annual audit and tax preparation by providing necessary documents and explanations to auditors and tax agents
Review accounting entries to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Assist in improving accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Perform other finance and accounting duties or ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the Finance Team Lead to support team objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Possess a recognized Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or its equivalent.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior accounting role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables
Experience with financial management software, such as SAP B1, is a plus
Self-motivated with strong initiative, critical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, independence, and a strong sense of responsibility as a results-oriented team player
Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
Proficiency in English language to communicate effectively in financial and business contexts
