🌱 Gardening Buddy Wanted

Part-Time, Among Gardens & Trees, Your Own Hours

Where: Jurong West

Hours: Half-days, morning or afternoon — you pick. 5–6 days a week.

Pay: Negotiable. No experience? No problem, we'll teach you everything.

Who we're hoping to hear from: Stay-home mums, students, semi-retirees, career-switchers, plant people, anyone who'd rather spend their mornings among gardens and trees than under fluorescent lights.

So, what is this place?

We run a garden plot leasing estate — think of it as a little village of green plots, rented out to hobby gardeners, weekend farmers and small growers. Some tenants grow chillies for fun. Some run proper little farms. All of them have opinions about soil.

We are expanding our team to keep our garden running smoothly day to day. That's the job.

What you'll actually be doing

Walking around and noticing things. Take a stroll through the estate, see which plots look untidy, check the water pumps are running, spot the fence that's come loose. Half the job is just having good eyes.

Talking to people. Tenants walk in, WhatsApp, and call. You'll answer questions, show new folks around available plots, explain how leasing works, and help with the basic paperwork. Friendly beats formal here.

Flagging what's broken. Faulty pump, blocked drainage, wonky gate — you contact our contractors to come fix it.

Light admin. Keeping track of who's in which plot, tenant contacts, maintenance logs. Gentle reminders to tenants whose rent is due, and a heads-up to us if someone's falling behind.

That's honestly it. No sales targets. No KPIs on a dashboard. Just take care of the place and the people in it.

What we're looking for

You're reliable.

You can talk to strangers without dreading it.

You're independent.

You don't mind sun, soil, mosquitoes and the occasional monitor lizard minding its own business among the trees.

You can use WhatsApp and type things into a phone or laptop. That's the full tech requirement.

Singaporean/PR preferred. LTVP and Dependant's Pass holders — yes please, you're very welcome here.

Experience in estate, facilities or property work is a bonus, not a requirement. We'd rather have someone sensible and willing than someone with the right words on a CV.
