About TGP
The Gap People is an award-winning social media agency based in Singapore. We design social strategies and create content that connects brands with their audiences.
Our work spans digital, integrated campaigns and video production—from social-first content to TVCs. By bringing strategy, creative and production together, we help bridge the gap between strong ideas and strong execution.
About This Role
We’re looking for an Account Manager who can make a complex account feel clear, controlled and well-run—for the client and for the team delivering it.
You will be a senior day-to-day client contact across TGP’s social media accounts. You will guide the client relationship, account plan, delivery rhythm and commercial health of the work, while collaborating closely with an Account Executive and colleagues across strategy, content, design and production.
The role brings together client partnership, delivery management and commercial awareness. You will turn client priorities into clear action, keep the team ahead of deadlines and give the client confidence thatTGP understands both the work and the wider business context.
What You’ll Be Doing
Build strong client relationships: Lead day-to-day communication, meetings and status updates. Understand the client’s priorities, working style, brand sensitivities and internal stakeholders.
Shape the account plan: Work with the strategy and content teams to translate monthly priorities into a clear content calendar, production plan and approval schedule.
Turn discussions into clear action: Make sure important meetings are followed by an accurate written record covering the client’s request, TGP’s recommendation, agreed deliverables, owners and deadlines.
Provide clear recommendations: Bring together input from the team, explain TGP’s point of view confidently and help the client make informed decisions.
Coordinate delivery: Keep content, design, production, editing, approvals and publishing moving across multiple work streams. Identify risks early and work with the relevant people to resolve them.
Work closely with the Account Executive: Agree priorities, coordinate responsibilities and review key trackers, follow-ups and client records together. Help the Account Executive build confidence and take on greater ownership over time.
Support the account’s commercial health: Track deliverables against the agreed scope, identify additional requests, support costings and keep agency time and margins in mind.
Keep communication connected: Make sure everyone has the context, decisions and client feedback needed to do the work well.
Turn performance into action: Coordinate reporting and work with the wider team to identify useful recommendations for the next content cycle.
Contribute to pitches: Bring client insight, delivery planning and account-management thinking to new-business opportunities when needed.
Who You Are
You are organised, calm and decisive. You communicate early, maintain clear written records and keep several priorities moving with clarity.
You are comfortable bringing a point of view rather than simply reporting a problem. When an issue needs attention, you can explain the context, recommend a way forward and identify the decision required.
You are collaborative and generous with information. You understand that strong account management helps different disciplines work well together while giving the client a clear and consistent experience.
You are also comfortable using modern tools, including AI-assisted tools where useful, to reduce repetitive administration, structure information and improve speed. You review the work carefully and apply your own judgment, client knowledge and communication standards before it is used.
Skills & Experience
4+ years of account management or client-services experience, ideally in a creative, social media, digital or integrated agency.
Experience managing recurring content or social media retainers with multiple monthly deliverables is strongly preferred.
Strong client-facing presence and clear, confident written communication.
Proven ability to manage calendars, approvals, revisions, production dependencies and competing deadlines.
Experience working with and supporting the development of an Account Executive or junior colleague.
Commercial awareness, including scope control, cost implications and agency profitability.
Confidence collaborating with strategists, writers, designers, producers and editors.
Familiarity with social media content workflows, platform formats, reporting and publishing processes.
Resourcefulness and a willingness to learn and apply tools that improve how work is organised and delivered.
