MECM Administrator

Key Responsibilities

·       Administer,maintain, and optimize enterprise Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager(MECM/SCCM) infrastructure.

·       Designand support operating system deployment solutions for Windows client and serverplatforms, including task sequences, boot images, driver packages, and OSimages.

·       Planand execute monthly security patching, software update deployments, andvulnerability-remediation activities.

·       Package,test, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise applications using MECM and approvedpackaging frameworks.

·       Monitorsite health and availability across Management Points, Distribution Points,Software Update Points, boundaries, boundary groups, and client communications.

·       ProvideL3 troubleshooting for client health, content distribution, policy processing,patching, software deployment, and task-sequence failures.

·       Produceendpoint inventory, compliance, operational-health, and audit reports fortechnical and governance stakeholders.

·       IntegrateMECM with Microsoft Intune and support co-management or modernendpoint-management initiatives where applicable.

·       Partnerwith security teams on endpoint security baselines andvulnerability-remediation activities using platforms such as Qualys andMicrosoft Defender.

·       Developand maintain PowerShell automation for administration, health checks,remediation, reporting, and operational efficiency.

·       Supportendpoint lifecycle activities including  provisioning,refresh, software distribution, configuration changes, and decommissioning.

·       Coordinateincidents, problems, changes, and service requests through ServiceNow andcontribute to root-cause analysis and continual service improvement.

·       Maintaintechnical documentation, operating procedures, support models, platformstandards, and recovery plans.

·       Providetechnical guidance to administrators and coordinate delivery acrossgeographically distributed teams.

Required Skills and Experience

·       Extensiveexperience administering Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)in a large enterprise environment.

·       Expert-levelknowledge of MECM/SCCM architecture, client management, software distribution,operating system deployment, software updates, collections, reporting, andcompliance.

·       Advancedtroubleshooting experience across site systems, client health, contentdistribution, boundary groups, Management Points, Distribution Points, SoftwareUpdate Points, and task sequences.

·       StrongPowerShell scripting skills for automation, reporting, diagnostics, andremediation.

·       Experiencewith Microsoft Intune, co-management,Microsoft Defender, Active Directory,Group Policy, WSUS, PKI certificates, DNS, and network fundamentals.

·       Experiencewith application packaging and deployment technologies such as MSI andPowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT), or equivalent frameworks.

·       Workingknowledge of Windows Server infrastructures upporting MECM site systems.

·       Knowledgeof endpoint security controls, vulnerability management, technical securitystandards, and audit evidence requirements.

·       Experiencewith enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow and Qualys.

·       Stronganalytical, problem-solving, documentation,communication, andstakeholder-management skills.

·       Abilityto work independently, prioritize competing demands, and maintain high qualityunder minimal supervision.

·       Experiencein banking, financial services, or another highly regulated technologyenvironment is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Microsoftcertification aligned to endpoint administration, Intune, Windows, or Microsoft365.

·       ITILFoundation or equivalent service-management certification.

·       Experiencewith hybrid endpoint environments, modern management, automation, andlarge-scale technology transformation.

·       Experiencesupporting globally distributed endpoint estates and cross-regional operationsteams.
