Microsoft Purview Security Consultant

Role Description:

Direct Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Purview Specialist to design, implement and support enterprise-wide data governance, information protection, and compliance solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and deploying Microsoft Purview capabilities across complex environments, ensuring sensitive information is appropriately classified, protected, and governed.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview solution design and implementation.

·      Demonstrated experience with:

a)       Microsoft Purview Information Protection(Sensitivity Labels, Auto-Labelling, Sensitive Information Types, Label Policies, MIP Scanner)

b)       Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention(DLP)

c)       Insider Risk Management, DSPM, and Information Barriers

d)       Data Classification, Data Governance, and Information Protection

Experience with Microsoft 365 Security, Compliance, and Purview technologies.

Proven experience delivering production deployments in regulated environments, including planning, testing, change management, hypercare, and operational support.

Strong PowerShell scripting, automation, and platform administration skills.

Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PDPA, and MASTRM guidelines.
