Sales Associate

Job Description

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, achieving individual sales targets and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the store.

This is a customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys selling, developing product knowledge and building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers

Achieve individual sales targets

Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products

Develop product and brand knowledge

Build relationships with regular customers

Support CRM and customer follow-up activities

Maintain high standards of customer service

Maintain store cleanliness, presentation and Visual Merchandising standards

Replenish merchandise and support stock management

Assist with stocktaking and inventory control

Support promotional events and product launches

Follow Company procedures and department-store requirements

Work collaboratively with Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Senior Sales Associates

Perform other reasonable operational duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Retail sales experience preferred; strong entry-level candidates may also be considered

Interest in fashion, sports, lifestyle or premium retail

Customer-oriented and comfortable interacting with different types of customers

Positive and proactive attitude

Willingness to learn

Good communication skills

Team player

Reliable, organised and responsible

Able to work independently after training

Able to work weekends and public holidays according to roster requirements

Fluent English; Mandarin or another relevant language is an advantage

Diploma in Retail, Business or a related discipline is an advantage, but not essential. Relevant retail experience and demonstrated leadership capability will be given greater consideration.
