Customer service assistant / executive

Job description

• Prepare shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, arrival notice, declare import and export permit
• Liaise with Customer for their shipment
• Check rates and negotiate with carriers
• Communicate with overseas agents for shipments
• Prepare job instructions to haulier and Transport Dept
• Update customer inventory in our warehouse
• Send tally sheets to customers after shipment arrived and unstuffed in our warehouse
• Prepare Warehouse release order for cargo release or pick up by Customer from our warehouse
• Prepare invoice to bill customers
• Any others duties assigned by management
• Knowledge of excel, google sheet would be advantage
• Knowledge of sysfreight is added advantage.
