Assistant Project Manager (M&E)

Job Summary

Manage and lead site operations for specialized piping and cabling installations in industrial or high-tech facilities, ensuring project schedules, quality standards, and regulatory compliance are met.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion

Coordinate project schedules and lead progress meetings to align team efforts and track milestones

Supervise installation and routing of specialized piping and cabling systems in semiconductor and chemical plants to meet technical specifications

Schedule, direct, and monitor subcontractors to ensure adherence to contract drawings and project requirements

Assist in preparing tender documents, cost estimations, quotations, and track variation works to support project budgeting and procurement

Ensure compliance with local building regulations, quality assurance standards, and safety requirements to maintain site integrity and worker safety

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Hands-on experience in M&E projects within construction or industrial sectors

Strong understanding of factory M&E layouts, cable routing, and piping configurations
