RoleOverview

We are looking for a Robotics Software Engineer to join our engineering team and take ownership of core software that drives our robots.You will work directly with the CTO and the engineering team on robot navigation, arm manipulation, and the full software stack that keeps our robots operational in the field. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role in a team that ships to production.

What YouWill Do

• Develop and maintain software for robot navigation, including SLAM, path planning, and obstacle avoidance
• Build and refine arm manipulation software including motion planning, control, and end-effector coordination
• Integrate perception, planning, and control systems into a reliable and deployable software stack
• Work closely with hardware and field service teams to debug and resolve robot behaviour issues in real deployments
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code that can be maintained and extended by the team
• Participate in field testing, deployment validation, and continuous improvement of robot performance
• Contribute to technical design discussions and help define the software architecture for new robot capabilities

What WeAre Looking For

Must-have:

• Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS2
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++
• Experience with robot navigation systems: SLAM, localisation, path planning, or motion control
• Ability to work independently, debug systematically, and take ownership of your work end-to-end
• Strong written and spoken English for communication with the team and stakeholders

Good to have:

• Experience with robotic arm manipulation and motion planning frameworks (e.g., MoveIt)
• Familiarity with perception systems: LiDAR, depth cameras, computer vision
• Experience deploying robots in real-world or production environments
• Master's degree or research background in robotics or automation
• Startup experience or demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments

WorkArrangement

• Full-time, on-site.
• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to6:30 PM
• Field deployment involvement may require occasional off-site work
