Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage full-set accounting, financial reporting, audit coordination, and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage full-set accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements to support informed decision-making

Execute month-end and year-end closing processes to maintain timely financial reporting

Coordinate external audits by liaising with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance and smooth audit processes

Ensure adherence to accounting standards, GST/tax regulations, and statutory requirements to maintain legal compliance

Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance to support financial stability and planning

Review and improve accounting processes to strengthen internal controls and enhance operational efficiency

Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management in strategic planning and performance evaluation

Required competencies and certifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting roles

Proven experience in full-set accounting and audit coordination

Preferred competencies and qualifications

ACCA, CPA, or CA qualification

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and accounting software

Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and meet deadlines

Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, and Xero
