School Lab Assistant (Barker road, 1 Year)

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 – 31 December 2027

Working Hours:

Mon–Thu: 7:00am – 4:15pm (incl. 45-min lunch break)

Fri: 7:00am – 3:45pm (incl. 45-min lunch break)

Rest Days: No work required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Science Department in maintaining the school's science laboratories

Prepare experimental set-ups for laboratory work

Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of science laboratories

Undertake any other duties assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) or School STEM Instructors

Job Requirements

GCE 'N' Level Certificate or equivalent and above (education certification may be offset with relevant work experience)

At least 4 years of working experience in a secondary school chemistry lab

Good interpersonal, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills

Ability to multitask, and to work both independently and as part of a team

Willingness and ability to carry out routine tasks in a non-air-conditioned environment
