HVAC Lead Engineer / Engineer Manager

Responsibilities

Lead the engineering team to deliver detailed HVAC system designs that meet project requirements and industry standards

Calculate heating and cooling loads and select appropriate HVAC equipment to optimize system performance

Prepare and submit comprehensive technical documentation and drawings, including Equipment Technical Specifications, Duct & Instrument Diagrams, Functional Design Specifications, and Site Acceptance Test reports according to project schedules

Lead and facilitate technical meetings with shipyard and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve engineering issues

Collaborate closely with shipyard, client, production and project teams, suppliers, and auditors to ensure seamless project execution

Perform other duties as assigned by management to support engineering and project objectives

Required competencies and certifications

Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent

Minimum of 8 years of experience in HVAC engineering, preferably within marine and offshore sectors

Proficiency in AutoCAD software and Carrier HAP (Hourly Analysis Program)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel

Strong bilingual communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
