Therapy Assistant (Podiatry- DFS)*(4050) - National University Polyclinics

You will be responsible for the following:

screen for risk factors in the diabetic foot and determine the corresponding risk level

recognise diabetic foot conditions and refer patients to the doctor/podiatrist for management

deliver education on diabetic foot care to patients and/or caregivers

provide clear documentation on the results of the diabetic foot screening

adhere to legal, ethical, professional, departmental and organisational policies such as good infection control practices.

take part in activities that promote awareness of Podiatry

Requirements

Higher Nitec with GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level Credits in English, Mathematics and Science

WSQ Higher Certificate in Therapy Services will be an advantage

5 days workweek. Willing to travel to different polyclinics and work on Saturdays

Ability to lift reasonable loads
