AVP, Corporate Banking (Large Corporates)

Our client, a leading international bank, is looking to appoint an Assistant Vice President, Corporate Banking to cover a portfolio of large corporate clients.

This is a generalist corporate banking role, covering client relationship management, credit origination and the delivery of a broad range of banking solutions across lending, trade finance, cash management and other corporate banking products.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of large corporate clients.

Act as a trusted banking partner, understanding clients' business, financial and strategic requirements.

Identify opportunities for new business, cross-selling and wallet expansion across corporate banking products.

Drive loan origination, structuring and execution of bilateral and syndicated facilities.

Partner with product specialists across Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, Treasury and other relevant businesses.

Prepare and present credit proposals, annual reviews and client account plans.

Monitor portfolio performance, credit quality and utilisation.

Work closely with internal stakeholders including Credit, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Operations to ensure effective execution.

Requirements

Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.

3–8 years of relevant corporate banking experience, preferably covering large local or multinational corporates.

Strong understanding of corporate banking products, credit analysis and financial statements.

Experience in relationship management, credit origination and/or corporate lending.

Strong commercial and client management skills.

Good communication, analytical and stakeholder management capabilities.
