Are you looking to apply your biotechnology expertise in a hands-on manufacturing environment while developing your experience in cGMP operations?

We are looking for a Biotechnologist to join a regulated manufacturing environment, supporting daily production activities, operating essential manufacturing systems, and contributing to process improvement and operational excellence. This role provides valuable practical exposure to cleanroom operations, manufacturing equipment, validation, troubleshooting, process transfers, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine manufacturing activities in accordance with approved SOPs, batch records, and electronic documentation requirements.

Carry out cleanroom production activities such as equipment preparation, cleaning, sterilisation, filtration, and material handling.

Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing equipment, process control systems, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) while adhering to GMP requirements.

Conduct production sampling, process monitoring, laboratory checks, and ensure timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing data.

Assist with troubleshooting, investigations, deviation management, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to support consistent manufacturing performance.

Participate in process transfers, equipment commissioning, validation activities, and continuous improvement projects.

Maintain accurate production records, logbooks, and electronic documentation in accordance with quality and regulatory standards.

Support safety, quality, housekeeping, and audit-readiness initiatives within the manufacturing facility.

Share technical knowledge and provide on-the-job guidance to colleagues when required.

Collaborate with quality, engineering, technical, and other cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and efficient manufacturing operations.

Requirements

Degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a related discipline.

Previous experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments will be an advantage.

Knowledge of cGMP requirements, cleanroom practices, manufacturing systems, and production equipment is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Comfortable supporting rotating shifts and operational requirements.

Able to follow cleanroom gowning procedures, workplace safety requirements, and established manufacturing practices.

Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
