(Japanese speaking) Senior Sales Executive / Assistant Sales Manager Senior Sales / Assistant Sales Manager (Marine, HVAC) - TK

A Japanese manufacturer in the maritime business, is looking for a Senior Sales / Assistant Sales Manager to join their company in Singapore. You will lead maritime sales strategies for a top Japanese manufacturing client.

◆Job Responsibilities:

・Develop and expand business opportunities within the maritime industry, focusing on ship owners, ship management companies, shipbuilders, contractors, and other key stakeholders.

・Promote and secure adoption of the company's marine HVAC and related products for new vessel construction projects, particularly for vessels being built in overseas shipyards.

・Conduct sales activities targeting ship owners and ship management companies in Singapore, highlighting the competitive advantages and value propositions of the company's products.

・Manage after-sales service activities for vessels equipped with the company's products, including repair sales, retrofit proposals, maintenance support, and client follow-up.

・Drive equipment sales for both marine and onshore products through contractors and other business partners.

・Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, ship brokers, and other industry players to generate new business opportunities and increase market presence.

・Conduct cold calling, client visits, business meetings, and product presentations to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.

・Handle customer inquiries, prepare quotations and invoices, respond to emails, and coordinate with clients and distributors to ensure smooth project execution.

・Monitor sales pipelines, update sales forecasts, and provide regular market feedback and business reports to management.

・Introduce and promote new products launched by headquarters and develop strategies to increase sales revenue in Singapore and the region.

・Provide excellent customer support and ensure high levels of client satisfaction through timely and effective communication.

・Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

・ Preferably 5 years or more of sales experience in the maritime industry or chiller industries

・ Strong understanding of the maritime industry landscape

・ Product and market knowledge of HVAC and air-conditioning products is a plus

・ Ability to comprehend company policies and plan activities accordingly

・Able to communicate in Japanese to Japanese speaking client or stakeholders

・ Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be advantages to communicate with Mandarin-speaking vendors and clients

・ Understanding of Japanese corporate culture with strong integrity, professionalism, and self-management skills.

・ Ability to understand company policies and independently plan and execute sales activities aligned with business objectives.
