Violin Enrichment Teacher

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Violin Enrichment Teacher to conduct engaging violin lessons for preschool children aged 4 to 6 years old.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct fun, age-appropriate group violin enrichment classes for children from N2 to K2.

Plan and prepare structured lessons that introduce basic violin techniques, rhythm, musicality and confidence in performance.

Create a positive, encouraging and inclusive learning environment for young children.

Adapt teaching approaches according to children’s developmental needs and learning pace.

Prepare children for simple showcases, school events or performances where required.

Monitor children’s progress and provide brief feedback to the school and parents when needed.

Ensure proper care, safe handling and storage of musical instruments and teaching materials.

Work closely with the school’s management and teaching team to align lessons with the school calendar and programme goals.

Job Requirements

Relevant qualification or certification in Violin Performance, Music Education or a related field.

Prior experience teaching violin to young children, preferably in a preschool or enrichment setting.

Strong classroom-management skills and the ability to engage children through play-based, interactive learning.

Patient, nurturing, energetic and reliable.

Able to commit to scheduled weekday lessons during school hours.

Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and candidates with the relevant work authorisation are welcome to apply.
