The Digital Project Engineer will support and coordinate the implementation of Smart Facilities Management (Smart FM), Internet of Things (IoT) and digital application projects across various sites. The role serves as the key coordination point between technology vendors, clients and Facilities Management (FM) operations teams. The successful candidate will help ensure that digital solutions are properly understood, deployed, tested and handed over with minimal disruption to site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project and Site Coordination
Coordinate site activities for Smart FM, IoT and digital application implementation projects.
Conduct site surveys and coordinate installation requirements, work schedules, access arrangements and site readiness.
Work closely with site teams and vendors to ensure that implementation activities are completed safely and according to the agreed schedule.
Monitor project progress and promptly highlight delays, technical issues or operational constraints.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, user acceptance testing and system handover activities.
Ensure that all site works comply with relevant safety requirements, site procedures and client requirements.
Vendor and Solution Coordination
Liaise with technology vendors, system integrators and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop a good understanding of vendors’ solutions, including their system functions, hardware requirements, connectivity and integration requirements.
Review vendors’ technical proposals, implementation plans, method statements and system documentation.
Coordinate the resolution of technical, installation and operational issues with vendors.
Monitor vendor deliverables and ensure that outstanding items are followed through to completion.
Client and Operations Engagement
Engage clients and internal FM operations teams to understand their operational requirements and site constraints.
Translate operational needs into clear requirements for technology vendors and implementation partners.
Coordinate implementation activities to minimize disruption to ongoing FM operations.
Support demonstrations, user briefings, system training and onboarding sessions.
Gather feedback from users and work with vendors to address issues and improve system adoption.
Digital Application Rollout
Support the rollout of digital applications such as FM platforms, mobile applications, inspection systems, dashboards and workflow solutions.
Assist with user account setup, system configuration, data collection and data validation.
Support the onboarding of site teams and monitor application usage following implementation.
Provide first-level coordination for system issues and escalate technical matters to the relevant vendor or internal team.
Help ensure that deployed systems are practical, user-friendly and aligned with actual site operations.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain project schedules, action lists, site records and implementation trackers.
Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, testing records and project documentation.
Maintain proper records of equipment installed, device locations, network requirements and system configurations.
Compile testing, commissioning, training and handover documentation.
Support the preparation of presentations, technical write-ups and project updates for management and clients.
Educational Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline with minimum 1 - 3 years relevant working experience.
Experience and Knowledge:
Relevant experience in facilities management, engineering projects, IoT systems, building systems or digital solution implementation will be advantageous.
Fresh graduates with a strong interest in Smart FM, IoT and digital technologies are welcome to apply.
Basic understanding of building services, M&E systems, sensors, controllers, networks or system integration will be advantageous.
Comfortable working at operational sites and coordinating with different stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Working Requirements:
Willing to travel between project sites within Singapore.
May be required to support implementation, testing or commissioning activities outside normal office hours, depending on site requirements.
Must comply with all applicable workplace safety, security and client site requirements.
Employment Type: 2-years contract (renewable/convertible) with benefits
Working Location: North - Woodlands
Work Schedule: 5-day work week, Mon - Thurs: 8.30 am - 6.00 pm, Fri: 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
