3D Animator

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented 3D Animator to bring our high-fantasy heroes, dynamic enemies, and epic bosses to life. You will be responsible for creating fluid, impactful, and expressive character animations tailored for fast-paced mobile combat. Working closely with client engineers and game designers, you will ensure animations look crisp from top-down game camera angles and execute seamlessly in-engine.

Key Responsibilities

Combat & Character Animation:  Keyframe high-quality 3D animations for playable heroes, monsters, and bosses (including attacks, skill casts, locomotion, hits, and idle states).

Technical Setup & Rigging:  Build, test, and optimize character skeletons, joint structures, and control rigs tailored for mobile performance budgets.

Engine Integration:  Import and set up animation trees, state machines, and blend trees in-engine (Unity/Unreal), ensuring frame-accurate timing for hitboxes and skill cancels.

Mobile Readability & Style:  Ensure attack silhouettes, anticipation frames, and weight distribution read cleanly at high speeds from a top-down mobile camera perspective.

Requirements

Proven experience as a 3D Animator on released mobile or PC action titles.

Mastery of Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max for keyframe animation and rigging.

Experience setting up animation controllers and state machines in Unity.

Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, weight, anticipation, impact) applied to stylized anime/high-fantasy characters.
