We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking data leader to drive the use of advanced analytics, data science, and enterprise data platforms across the organisation.
This role goes beyond traditional reporting. You will help shape how data is governed, accessed, and leveraged to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across clinical, operational, and corporate domains.

Key Responsibilities
Drive Data-Driven Transformation
Partner with hospital leaders and stakeholders to solve complex business and healthcare challenges through evidence-based analytics.
Translate data into meaningful insights that influence strategic planning, operational improvements, and patient care outcomes.
Develop predictive and quantitative models to identify risks, trends, opportunities, and areas for optimisation.
Lead Enterprise Data Platforms
Partner with Synapxe and Group Digital Health to support the development, testing, implementation, and enhancement of the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Analytics Workbench.
Drive platform governance, optimisation, and future roadmap planning to ensure scalability, performance, and sustainability.
Champion data accessibility while maintaining strong governance, quality, and security standards.
Build organisational capabilities through workbench adoption, best practices, user enablement, and training.
Advance Analytics Across the Organisation
Design and deliver enterprise dashboards and visualisations that provide actionable insights across key domains including operations, finance, manpower, quality, safety, and patient care.
Support departments in developing scalable solutions for data collection, integration, cleansing, analysis, and reporting.
Promote self-service analytics capabilities that empower stakeholders to make informed decisions with confidence.
Enable Clinical Excellence
Support clinical teams with data analytics that improve quality of care, resource planning, service utilisation, and clinical outcomes.
Leverage advanced analytics to identify opportunities for improving care value and patient outcomes.
Contribute to population health initiatives through the use of predictive and descriptive analytics.
Build Analytics Capability
Mentor and develop junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and healthcare data science.
Drive adoption of modern analytical methodologies, tools, and technologies across the organisation.
Contribute to Research and Knowledge Sharing
Support operational and clinical research initiatives through robust analytical methodologies.
Contribute to education and capability-building efforts within the department and broader organisation.
Share insights and best practices that enhance analytical maturity across the healthcare system.
What You Bring
Experience & Qualifications
Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Health Sciences, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related discipline.
At least 7 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
Experience working with large and complex datasets to generate business and healthcare insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, STATA, R, or Python.
Experience in dashboarding, data visualisation, predictive analytics, and enterprise reporting solutions.
