Golang Software Engineer

Location: Punggol (2 Day WFH)

Job Type: Full-Time Contract (Subjected to renewable/conversion)

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain modern, scalable web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React and Next.js.

Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Golang and TypeScript.

Deploy, operate, and support applications across AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.

Design and optimise database schemas, queries, and data models using PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Collaborate with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Apply software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including code quality, testing, performance, and reliability.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in software engineering or full stack development.

Strong hands-on experience in frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and/or Next.js.

Backend development experience using Golang and/or TypeScript.

Practical experience working with AWS and/or Azure.

Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Good understanding of software engineering principles, API development, and scalable system design.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
