MOBILE TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales & Mobile Services Executive to support the daily operations of our minimart and mobile services counter. The successful candidate will be responsible for retail sales, customer service, SIM card and prepaid services, mobile-related services, inventory management and general store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Manage daily retail sales and customer service activities at the minimart and mobile services counter.. Attend to customers professionally and provide suitable recommendations on retail products, SIM cards, prepaid top-ups, mobile accessories and related services.

·      Handle SIM card sales,registration, activation, replacement and prepaid top-up services in accordancewith applicable procedures.

·      Assist customers with basicmobile phone setup, SIM-related issues, network settings, applications and other general mobile service enquiries.

·      Promote mobile services,prepaid plans, accessories and retail products to achieve sales targets.

·        Perform mobile phone servicing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and basic repairs, including hardware and software-related issues.

·        Provide customer support by identifying device problems, explaining repair requirements, and recommending suitablesolutions.Maintain proper daily sales, payment andtransaction records.

·      Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment for minimart products, SIM cards, top-up cards and mobile accessories.

·      Conduct regular stock checks and assist with receiving, checking, arranging and displaying merchandise.

·      Handle customer enquiries,feedback, complaints, returns and after-sales service professionally.

·      Coordinate with suppliers and telecommunications service providers regarding products, SIM cards, top-up services and customer-related matters.

·      Maintain proper product displays, cleanliness and organization of the retail outlet and service counter.

·      Assist with sales reporting,stock-taking and other administrative duties related to shop operations.

Support the overall day-to-day operations of the business and perform other relevant duties assigned by management

Requirements

·      Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in retail sales, minimart operations, mobile services or customer service.

·      Experience in SIM card sales,prepaid top-up services and mobile-related customer service will be an advantage.

·      Good communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service attitude.

·      Able to handle cash and electronic payment transactions accurately.

·      Good sales and product knowledge with the ability to recommend suitable products and services.

·      Able to work independently aswell as in a team.

·      Responsible, reliable,adaptable and willing to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

·      Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system knowledge.

·      Willing to work retail hours, weekends and public holidays.
