Boys' Town is a non-profit social service agency in Singapore dedicated to supporting children and youth in need. Founded in 1948 by the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel, Boys' Town began as a residential home for boys affected by the war and has since expanded to provide a continuum of services for children and youth in need.
Today, Boys' Town serves both boys and girls, from infants to young adults, many from disadvantaged or disengaged families who have experienced challenges such as neglect, abandonment, or abuse. Boys' Town provides holistic and integrated services including residential care, fostering services, respite care, youth outreach, adventure-based therapy, and clinical intervention.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Residential Services Social Worker provides case management, counselling, and therapeutic interventions for residents under Boys' Town Residential Services. Working closely with families, schools, government agencies, and multidisciplinary teams, the Social Worker supports residents' rehabilitation, well-being, and successful reintegration into their families and communities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of residents admitted under a Child Protection Orders, Probation Orders, Family Guidance Orders, MSF referrals, and Compassionate Grounds.
Conduct intake, assessment, case planning, and review processes for assigned residents.
Develop and implement Individualised Care Plans (ICP) to address residents' developmental, behavioural, emotional, and family needs.
Provide individual and family counselling, casework, and therapeutic interventions.
Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic group programmes.
Monitor residents' progress and conduct regular case reviews.
Maintain timely and accurate case documentation, reports, and records.
Collaborate with Residential Services staff, Education Officers, and other professionals to support residents' care plans.
Liaise and coordinate with external stakeholders including MSF, schools, Family Service Centres, Youth Court, Protection Officers, Probation Officers, and other community partners.
Represent residents and Boys' Town at case conferences, court hearings, reviews, and other professional meetings as required.
Support programme development, resident activities, and organisational initiatives.
Uphold professional ethics, safeguarding standards, and confidentiality requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Social Work recognised by the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience in child protection, residential care, youth work, counselling, or case management will be an advantage.
Strong interpersonal, assessment, report-writing, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
