Resident Technical Officer (C&S) - T5

Project: Megaspine - Changi T5

Responsibilities

Supervise tunnel and civil engineering works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.

Monitor tunnel excavation, shaft construction, structural works, and temporary works activities.

Conduct site inspections and verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and completed works.

Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and project safety requirements.

Monitor geotechnical instrumentation, settlement readings, and ground movement during tunnelling operations.

Liaise with contractors, consultants, and authorities to resolve technical and construction-related issues.

Attend site meetings, prepare inspection records, and submit progress and quality reports.

Assist the Resident Engineer (RE) in overseeing tunnel construction activities and ensuring compliance with LTA, BCA, and project requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction supervision, preferably in Tunnel projects.

Registered RTO with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES).
