Store Leader

Primary Responsibility

The Store Leader has overall responsibility for the performance, people and day-to-day operations of the SKIMS store. The role leads and develops the store team to deliver an elevated and consistent customer experience while driving sales, productivity and operational performance.

As a key ambassador of the SKIMS brand, the Store Leader sets the standard for customer experience, team culture, product expertise and store presentation. The role works closely with the wider business to ensure the store operates effectively, achieves its commercial objectives and consistently reflects SKIMS' brand values and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Store Leadership & Business Performance

Take overall ownership of the store's daily operations, sales performance and customer experience.

Drive store sales and productivity by setting clear goals and translating business targets into actionable plans.

Monitor key sales and operational KPIs and identify opportunities to improve store performance.

Analyse sales trends, customer feedback and business performance to implement appropriate action plans.

Lead by example on the sales floor and maintain a strong presence during peak trading periods.

Customer Experience

Champion a customer-first culture and ensure customers receive a personalised and elevated shopping experience.

Ensure the team demonstrates strong product knowledge and is able to provide appropriate styling and fit advice.

Maintain high standards of service throughout the customer journey, including fitting room experience, product recommendations and after-sales service.

Handle customer feedback and escalated service issues professionally and effectively.

People Leadership

Lead, coach and develop the store team to achieve individual and store objectives.

Set clear expectations and provide regular feedback, recognition and performance coaching.

Support recruitment, onboarding, training and succession planning for the store team.

Foster a positive, inclusive and collaborative working environment.

Manage team performance and address performance or conduct issues in accordance with company policies.

Store Operations

Ensure smooth execution of daily opening and closing procedures.

Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, shipment processing and stockroom organisation.

Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety, security and operational policies.

Work closely with the People Operations and Brand teams on manpower planning, training and other operational matters.

Ensure the store is consistently clean, organised and maintained to SKIMS standards.

Visual& Brand Standards

Ensure the store's visual presentation, product placement and merchandising standards are consistently maintained.

Partner with the relevant teams to execute new launches, seasonal campaigns and product updates.

Ensure product availability, size integrity and replenishment are maintained throughout the day.

Any other ad hoc responsibilities assigned as needed.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Retail Management, Business, Fashion or a related discipline preferred.

Minimum 5 years of retail experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or management capacity.

Experience managing a high-volume fashion, premium, beauty, lifestyle or similar retail environment preferred.

Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to drive sales and KPIs.

Strong people management, coaching and communication skills.

Customer-focused, commercially driven and highly organised.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
