ELECTRICIAN

Job Description & Requirements

Installation:  Installing electrical hardware, conduit, wiring, and fixtures (lighting, outlets, switchboards) in new and existing buildings.

Maintenance & Repair:  Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing faulty electrical components, motors, generators, and circuit systems.

Compliance:  Adhering strictly to national electrical codes, safety regulations, and local building standards.

Planning:  Reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to plan and execute jobs.

Testing:  Using testing devices (e.g., ohmmeters, voltmeters) to inspect system safety and functionality. foundit.sg +7

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Education:  High school diploma, vocational training, or an N/O Level certificate.

Certification/Licensing:  Valid electrician license, apprenticeship completion, or recognized industry certification (e.g., Journeyman).

Experience:  Previous experience in electrical maintenance or construction (often 3-4 years preferred).

Technical Skills:  Mastery of electrical circuitry, power tools, and ability to read blueprints.

Physical Ability:  Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and lift heavy equipment. Indeed +5
